Commissions are reported as due within 30 days of the start of the referred customer's subscription. You request a payout once your balance passes $100, and must do so within 12 months of a commission being calculated. Woodpecker's own panel pays by PayPal by the 20th of the month after the commission month; where a payment processor such as Reditus handles payouts, its terms set the timing and method.

20% of the net subscription income from every customer you refer, on every payment they make. The commission is worked out on the price of the email-sending plans; Woodpecker may leave paid add-ons such as warm-up and lead finder out of it. A referral counts once the customer pays for a subscription and stays a customer for at least 30 days. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted.

- No advertising in search engines (the terms call this "the prohibition on advertising in search engines")
- No search keywords or terms that Woodpecker considers promote sexually explicit material, violence, weapons, illegal activity, counterfeit items, betting or gambling, discrimination or intellectual property infringement
- No domain names identical or similar to Woodpecker trademarks
- No spyware, and no context-triggered ads that cover or obscure other content on a website
- No self-referrals: no benefits from your own link on Woodpecker accounts you or your company handle
- Only graphics from the Woodpecker Brand Kit; no own versions of its logos, app screenshots or graphics
- Follow the law, including email marketing and anti-spam laws
