Affiliates are paid on the first of each month for referrals that have been approved and active for 60 days. The first payment needs at least $100 and at least two separate referred customers. All payments go by PayPal.

How the commission works
A flat amount per sale on listed hosting packages, set by monthly sales volume: $95 each for 1 to 10 sales a month, $120 for 11 to 15, $135 for 16 to 20 and $145 for 21 or more. Add-on packages, software licenses, domain registrations, Entry and Entry Plus plans and SSL certificates earn nothing. A referred account must stay active for at least 60 days before commission is paid, and you must refer at least two separate customers. Unpaid, charged-back or reversed sales do not qualify.
- No promotion from sites with unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing or otherwise objectionable content, including sites that facilitate illegal activity, promote violence or promote copyright infringement
- No unsolicited commercial email (spam)
- No KnownHost registered trademarks in any paid advertising campaign that directs sales to affiliate links
- No commission on purchases for, or owned by, the referring affiliate
- No commission on current KnownHost customers
- No commission on accounts that are not in good standing or that violate the KnownHost Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- No commission on fraudulent accounts, purchases generated only to earn a payout, or accounts without legitimate customer activity
- No commission on orders entered by the affiliate rather than by the customer unassisted
- No commission on sales won by offering extra cash, discounts or compensation in exchange for the purchase
- No commission on sales referred through Google, Google AdWords or any other pay-per-click advertising platform
- No action that damages KnownHost or compromises its servers or equipment, including transmitting viruses, Trojan horses, worms or other harmful code
